台湾之旅, Day 3.

Day 3 started off with my journey having this two with me. K & L.

宜兰. A really beautiful 'Kahang' feeling place.

Just in front of J's house is a patch of bright green grass!

Their family portrait.

J invited us to his house for lunch, done by his maid Wati. :) Very nice!

He brought us to eat ice cream. Nice!

On the way to 九份!

Railway track!

This is the part where the sea and the yellow colour water from the fountain meet.

View from a higher place.

I've been searching for this shop cause E said his mom wanted the 太阳饼 from this shop!

九份老街!

So cutee!

One of the alley. Damn cool. The air coming from this alley is cooling!!!

Love the view!!

This dog wouldn't move no matter how I call him. -.-

Day3:

台北

宜兰

九份
阳明山

We woke up really early this morning to buy breakfast for everyone at the breakfast stall nearby. J came to fetch us from our apartment at about 10ish. K was hogging the toilet and I was the last to be out of the house though I woke up being one of the earliest. LOL.

So the journey started with us going to J's house for lunch at 宜兰. 宜兰 is a really very kampong feeling place to me. Both me and K agreed that it reminds us of my hometown, kahang. :) J has like 4 dogs at home. 3 of which are outside of the house and one inside the house. Didn't know there was one inside the house and L got scared when we opened the door and she started crying. LOL So J went to pick the dog up and lock her upstairs. J's house is big, compared to Singapore's houses. They have the land and it's really cool cause you can't even see such a big land in Singapore, for a household. -.- I mean, the price for just a HDB flat in Singapore, I could buy a mansion in Malaysia. -.- This is the difference. Even for cars as well. They claim to raise the COE so that people don't buy car but the rich can afford it and they're still buying. That's why the rich gets richer and poor get poorer. While us, being in the middle, is stuck because we're not moving anywhere. So idiotic. -.-

ANYWAY,
宜兰 was a relaxing place and according to J, just one 宜兰 is already 10 times bigger than Singapore. Haha so imagine the land size..... -.- So after the delicious lunch, we left to another area of 宜兰 and J showed us their new house which is still in the process of building. 宜兰 reminds me so so so much of my hometown! Really! :) He then brought us to eat ice cream and 葱油饼.. I only ate the ice cream cause I'm never a fan of spring onion and the whole thing was filled with spring onions so no thank you. LOL.

After the ice cream session was traveling to 九份, it was uphill and a lot of curves and turns and slopes. But I like 九份 cause it's just slow walking. Nothing much to buy there other than all the almond tea and almond products. That's where we ordered all our 太阳饼and凤梨酥. They do delivery to our apartment so it's still okay for us cause we no need to carry the food around. Haha. :) I enjoyed 九份 cause I love the view from the top of the mountain and the weather wasn't that cold. It's just nice, cooling. I'm scared of cold so being at 九份 without my jacket more than half the time is consider a good thing already! :)

Our last stop is 阳明山. Our dinner at this restaurant. The dinner was a bomb but the food was suuuuuppppppeeerrrbbbb! :) Love the food there especially the soup!!! And I swear the weather is so cold I needed both my scarf and jacket! But I freaking love the view up there! Too fantastic. No words could describe my feelings cause happy is not enough to describe, excited is not enough to describe either. I don't know. I feel like, I'm at the top of the world and I'm just so so so happy! :) It's like, looking at the view, talking to the girls and enjoying the food, what more could I ask for? At that moment, I was like ' This is the kind of life I want. I'm simply loving every bit of it ' Oh well, dream remains as a dream until I succeeded in achieving it. But meh, Singapore won't give me such feeling. Not even when I'm at the top of mount faber. -.- BLEH.

And so, after a super good dinner, J sent us girls home and dropped by at the apartment for a short rest before he continue his drive home. Well, this was the day that I spent the night awake until about 4am, doing all the laundry cause my girls needed their clothes to wear. And they're all dead tired and I decided to be the nice one to stay awake and help them with it! And L, actually stayed up later than most of them and talk to me at the balcony listening to my grumbles before she eventually can't take it and left me alone to fight the silence in the apartment. It was scary cause I hate silence when I'm at home. But the fact that I saw the girls sleeping soundly made me feel much better. Yeah I sounds like a mother looking after 6 kids. -.- But well, we're all treating each other like sister throughout the entire trip! :) It's unbelievable how the friendship between the 7 of us grow just through this trip! :D

Okay, done for Day3.
Day 4 soon! :)

Day2:

台北
SOGO
五分埔
饶河夜市

I'm sorry for the really late updates. I'll be hardworking now. It's already MAY! >.<

OKAYYYY!
Day 2 was the day that E arrive at Taipei. So L & I went to fetch her from the bus stop and we went back to buy some breakfast and take a rest after breakfast before we eventually go out. We took a slow walk from our apartment to the old SOGO, which was the wrong old SOGO and then walk to the other old SOGO which is just across the road. Haha.

Okay, supposed to look out for BRA but in the end because I stopover at Make Up For Ever, all of them stopped there and because I bought the super good deal from MUFE, they bought as well. I made everyone go broke. >.< I'm sorry but I really wanted that cause it was like so much cheaper than in SG!!! :\ After that we had MacD as our early dinner I suppose? Before going back to apartment to leave behind our loots from SOGO and head to 五分埔 for shopping. 五分埔 was alright to me. Maybe not much of dresses that catches my eyes at the side that I was going. Or maybe I was just busy looking for clothes for E. I managed to get 2 shirts and a cardigan for E from there! :) Don't know why but I just want to buy clothes for him. I spent about NT$3.5k buying clothes for him this trip. Excluding all the food etc. I didn't really bought a lot of clothes for myself cause I kept doing price comparison like 'if i can get this in Singapore at this price, what's the point of me getting it here?' So yeah, that's why my shopping all goes to E. But I bought a lot of pretty stockings and leggings for myself though! So happy! It's like 2 for NT$150! which makes a pair about $3.30 only! Freaking cheap! >.< But I bought from from 西门町. LOL

饶河夜市 was just a meh. Though they sell really cheap shoes there but apparently after being to 逢甲夜市, the shoes there seems to be even cheaper of the same design and stuffs. :) Next time I go Taiwan I will plan carefully where to shop so I don't waste so much time wandering around for stuffs that I don't really fancy. >.< And the next time I go Taiwan, I wanna do more for sightseeing rather than just shopping all day and night cause it gets bored to me sometimes. -.- I like my BKK trip last year with E. We do sight see and we do shopping on different day cause it was my very first trip and the purpose of going overseas is not just about shopping to me.. I would like to see places that we don't normally see in Singapore. Like things we don't really experience in Singapore cause shopping can be done in Singapore or even online.. So shopping was never really my kind of thing whenever I go overseas. I'll do shopping, but not as much. >.<

So we ended the night back in apartment and sleeping early cause the next day was sightseeing day!! I was rather excited!!! :)

Update soon on Day 3.
Hopefully I update my Taiwan trip all by today! :\
Procrastinating for too long!

Pieces Of Me..

It was haunting me again last night.
When was the last time it actually visited me.
Oh, not that long now that I come to think about it.
On that day when I found out about that rocketmail logged on your computer.
And that face you showed me when I questioned you.

The face that was trying so hard to hide things from me but to no avail because I opened up that inbox and saw what was inside.

Disappointed was the only word that could describe my feelings.
How many times do you have to breach my trust for you?

How many a times you need my tears to keep haunting me?
I'm unhappy for all I know.
And you've never in any ways try to make me feel better.
Why is it that you choose when to make me happy?
Why is it that you can't keep things on a constant and let that live forever the same way?
I'm tired of keeping up with your pace and following your steps.
You just keep walking and walking without taking a look at me who's behind you, trying so hard to follow every of your steps so that I could be near you, trying so hard to keep up with you so that I don't lose you.

I'm exhausted.
I'm tired.

The smile on my face is fading.
You're making it fade.
Stop giving me all the short-lived happiness and give me something real and solid.
If you can't give me what I need, why do you even bother to reassure me that you will and trying so hard to make things work when I wanted to give up?

Don't do this to me.
