This year's birthday was a simple one I should say.
Nothing big, nothing surprising(other than my present) just simply me and E.
I slept through half of my birthday and woke up about 3pm to get ready and meet E.
I met him at TPY MRT and he refuse to tell me where we're heading to. -.-
The sky wasn't happy that it was my birthday so there was a heavy downpour when I left home but thank goodness I brought my umbrella.
Those who knows me know I never like carrying umbrella! -.-
My poor new heels was like collecting water. ):
So we're on the MRT and happily chatting and we alighted at Marina Bay Station.
Same station that we alighted for Valentine's day! LOL
But we went a different route, we head towards circle line instead of exiting the station.
And so, we alighted at Bay Front Station.
Ah, so I know we're going to MBS now, like duh! HAHA.
We had a walk around MBS and finally about 8, E took me out of the shopping mall and we were just in front of LV looking at the lights display when he suddenly tell me, 'let's go eat now!' and we slowly walk over to the restaurant. (at this point I still don't know where I was going)
So TADAH! I'm entering HY California.
The place was just outside the mall, near the art science museum.
The place is quite quiet and I like it quiet when it's only both of us having meals together. :) Yes, he knows it too. :)
So I started asking him what's nice here and he gave me his suggestions. (Obviously he did his homework. Hehe.)
And so we placed our order and I asked him why he choosed this location. (as usual that's what I'll do) and so he explained that we could have a nice view here and the steak is nice. (yes, I love steak)
How thoughtful, isn't he? :)
He handed me my present when we're waiting for our food.
HE CAUGHT ME WITH SURPRISE!!!!
You know, E has always been a thrifter and he rarely even spend so much money on himself.
And that gift itself is already a bomb plus the dinner..
So go imagine the price.
We talked a lot during the dinner and took quite a fair bit of photos but as usual, he doesn't really like taking photos.. ):
After the dinner, he sent me home.
It was a very simple day but it was a very much well-spent day with E.
How not to love him more when he's doing things like this aiyo! ;)
So yeap, that's very much what happened on my simple birthday.
If any of you is hoping he would propose to me, NO HE DIDN'T.
So continue to wait.
